Sirius Recruitment wanted to minimise their footprint and create a business environment that employees, candidates and Sirius Recruitment clients would be proud of.

Scope 3 assessments incorporate emission factors associated with electricity and gas use, air, vehicle and other travel, accommodation, waste and embodied energy of various products.

This methodology is consistent with International Standards 14000 series and the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

Energy reduction initiatives have been recommended to Sirius Recruitment with the remaining emissions offset through Cleaner Climate’s UNFCCC compliant projects.

Cleaner Climate's projects are Clean Development Mechanism projects created in developing countries under the Kyoto Protocol.

Sirius Recruitment's offsets were invested in the Karnataka Wind Farm in India.

The wind farm helps reduce the energy deficity in Karanataka as well as promote the use of renewable energy.

This project creates emission reductions of 2,592tCO2 per year.
