Why do recruiters ask contractors where they have been interviewing?

When a consultant interviews you they are doing so for a variety of reasons. Essentially it is to find out what you are looking for, when you are available and where you would like to work. The market at the moment is candidate short and many candidates who have been to multiple agencies will find that the same role is presented to them more than once. Recruiters need to know which companies you have been represented at, so we do not contact the same companies. We also like to know where you have interviewed so we become better informed as to which industries are recruiting at the moment. This information is useful for other candidates and clients!

How soon can I expect feedback once I have submitted my CV?

Once you have submitted your cv we will endeavour to contact you to discuss your suitability not only for the application you have made but for any of the other many opportunities we offer at any one time.

If we feel after disscussion with you that we may have opportunities that suit you, you will be invited in to meet one of our consultants to discuss the opportunities in more depth. Once we have submitted your resume to our client we try to provide you with feedback as soon as possible, depending upon our clients busy schedules.

Importantly, you are welcome to call us at any time to discuss the movements and progression of your application but we will let you know developments as quickly as we can .

Can I be sent specific Job details?

In most cases our client will furnish us with the specifics of the position you apply for and as long as they are happy for you to receive this (most likely when an interview has been arranged) then we will provide it to you.

Can you tell me who the client is?

At the point when we have met with you and discussed the opportunity, we will ensure you are aware of all the details including company name, location, logistics and the salary range.

Why do agents still advertise jobs that have been filled?

There are occasions when a position is filled but not removed from the website. We apologise for this as they do need to be advertised for a certain amount of time. Call us anyway though, we tend to have a lot of similar opportunities.
